Liberals carefully demonstrate how their ideas are well-founded in science and experience. They propose sensible, humane policies. Then they sit back, smug that the angry mob will yield before their practical answers and clearly correct opinions.
In other words, they’re a bunch of fucking idiots.

The faithful didn’t care that they’d heard the same refrain dozens of times already, that the words didn’t make sense, or that none of the claims were true. The truth doesn’t matter because that’s not the point. It’s all about the excitement!
Crowd Response
MAGA politics was never intellectual; it’s a mob event. And it needs that crush of people to work. You don’t do religious fervor in your living room. You need to get yourself into a crowd where you can feed off each other. The best gangs are physical, but virtual mobs can work if they have their own satisfying dynamic. Nothing tastes as sweet as attacking some ‘other.’ “They all despise you,” the speaker yells in Orwellian irony and the crowd grunts and chants their new scripture.
Crowds are emotional, not logical. People in small groups can discuss things. Crowds are passionate, all shout and delight, egging each other to be even more outrageous.

The truth doesn’t matter. Think of The Crucible, with its jury of swooning young girls. Nobody in isolation would fall to the ground, speaking in tongues. But together? The Truth Doesn’t Matter
Democrats are chumps. Not all of ’em, but many people just won’t comprehend reality, even when bad cops it into their eye sockets with a pepper-ball gun. I love the excellent work by the House January 6th Committee, who demonstrate their results in granular and convincing detail. But they’re in the wrong fight. The rank-and-file MAGA Republicans aren’t going to listen when they’re locked in an orgasmic thrall-ride reinforced endlessly.
Is this important? When you ask them, most Republican Party loyalists support violence to win the next election. I mean, if it was righteously stolen from them by sneering radical coastal trans extreme liberal urban Antifa gun-yanking BLM abortionists.
