So we’re at an inflection point. Oddly, the question isn’t what happened up to now. We know Donald Trump, Jr. knowingly colluded with Russian sources to interfere in the 2016 election, because he told us so. He gave us the emails. There are questions about so many broken laws that it’s hard to pick which to follow first.
The question is about what Republicans do next. Do they look into the obvious wrongdoing for possible criminal actions? Do they double-down and back Trump? Do they try to counterpunch by working to change the story from Trump’s actions, to something unsavory about… someone else. Anyone else.
In almost every case, this will begin tomorrow. Pay attention.
