Predictions About Trump: Cheating the Election
Dealing with Trump is depressing, but some predictions about Trump are possible. He’s looking at an election he’ll lose. Here are a few of my predictions about the ways he might cheat.

Dealing with Trump is hard. When he’s caught lying, he doubles down. And now Trump and the Republicans are attacking the 2020 election they know they’ll lose. If we don’t anticipate what they’ll do, we’ll react too slowly to matter.
We need to deal with Trump between now and the 2020 Presidential election. In 2016, we gave terrible powers to a madman with no boundaries and disdain for the rule of law. Now that he’s losing badly, he’ll do everything possible to stop, corrupt, or suppress the election. We can’t just react; we need to think ahead to beat them.
Each time Republicans refuse to limit suffering, pain, or despair, we pretend they are acting honorably, and we just disagree. Sure, the GOP regularly disdained mercy, but we still tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. It seemed polite. But what if that’s not true? Are Republicans evil?
We’re reposting the FindAClearTruth video about Trump’s speech in Tulsa. It’s long, rambling, petty, disjointed, and ultimately hilarious. I hate the term at the end, but I was laughing out loud anyway. I think this is art.
If nothing else, the pandemic confirms that Donald Trump has been the worst President in recent history and that the Republican Party cannot lead or govern. The GOP has become the party of corruption and self-dealing, led by a narcissistic madman. Vile patriots and false prophets, they embody bad faith in every sense.
We sat on our hands for too long, not protecting ourselves, and pretending it won’t matter. Ignoring all the evidence, we say, ‘It isn’t that bad; it’s not real.’ We are idiots. The epidemic is real, it will get much worse, and it will take much longer than we’ve prepared for. And we’re still sitting on our hands.
Trump, with his Impeachment acquittal in hand, is letting his Borderline Personality Disorder bloom. He will have his revenge.
It’s all about power. Every politician knows the facts on paper; nobody is on the cusp. For Republicans the question is simpler: will Americans let them get away with it?
President Trump’s Senate trial has started, and Sen. McConnell has already declared the result. Bad start.
Trump committed acts of war against Iran to distract us from his impeachment. Now the Iranians have struck Americans. What will the Mad King do next?
Listening to the impeachment vote in the House, I hear a lot of reasons not to impeach Trump. Acting dreadfully is appalling, but it is not impeachable. We need to be scrupulously honest, especially when the impeachment charges are so damning.
Republicans aren’t just corrupt; they’re creating a Jim Crow trial obscenity. White racist guys swearing they’ll acquit the white racist guy. Forget any facts or testimony. The fix is already in.
Devin Nunes was completely tangled in the Ukraine scandal, lied about it, and was too stupid to realize when he’d been caught. We knew he was an idiot and Trump’s personal proctologist. And now we find that Nunes has been lying the whole time to boot.
: Republicans use parasitic memes to limit dissent and even discussion. They design political memes to block questions, forstalling any deeper or nuanced communication. But changing the public understanding down to memes damages all of us.
Ambassador Sondland’s testimony hasn’t aged well. Yes, Sondland called out some of Trump’s Ukrainian deals, but he backed off of others. In full scumbag mode, Sondland described a Sept. phone call where Trump insisted “No quid pro quo!” and other purported virtues. And it didn’t take long before that story got shopworn.
On Nov 17th, President Trump visited doctors suddenly. In today’s tribal groupthink, we can be vicious animals at the scent of blood. We’ve forgotten the essential ethics: we at 3SR wish Trump good health and hope that this event will be resolved easily.
The parallels between the Trump Administration and Richard Nixon’s administration should frighten us. The incredible similarities are staggering and worth remembering.
