GOP politicians openly support ethnic cleansing if you aren’t white, or they just don’t like you.

Republicans have built American concentration camps. Tens of thousands of people who were arrested and are held because they aren’t white, including hundreds or thousands of dangerous, communist, insurrectionist… uh, children. Some infants. Many are undocumented, but some are citizens. More than 90 percent haven’t been accused of committing a crime, and almost none of them have been convicted. And the camps are notoriously horrible places.

Does it sound like I’m being harsh? Hyperbolic?

ICE and CBP are questioning and detaining people of color, including citizens with valid IDs and children born in America. Why? Because they’re not white, not Christian, they speak with an accent, or just to punish them for shouting at ICE agents or filming them. I think we’ve got all those “Concentration Camp” boxes checked. Add in the people detained because an HSD agent needed to meet their quota, and you add a solidly random bit of terrorism into the mix.

Hey, remember when Trump’s CBP pulled kids away from their parents and didn’t bother tracking them? And when everyone found out, Republicans just pretended it was fake news. Or just a mistake. Or Dems did it. Or something.

Cowards.

Anyway, America’s back to putting kids in concrete cages. So, what’s next? Forced labor? Oh, right. They’re already doing that. I wonder who’s making money from these ‘detention centers’? Right, again! Trump’s buddies.

Historical note: Germany built more than a thousand concentration camps all over their nation. Many surrounding German towns depended on revenue from slave labor. And they all pretended they had no idea what was really happening in the camps.

I assume Republican politicians have no moral ‘line’ they won’t cross. A lot of people expose these crimes and then point to them, hoping that shame will change people. Except no, it isn’t working. Is there anything so extreme that their followers might stop voting for them? Something so egregious that even Red states will decide that’s too much?

Apparently, even concentration camps didn’t do it, so I’m not holding out much hope. I wonder when we start seeing the first delicate leather lampshades.
