It’s so weird to watch MAGA transform America into a kleptocracy of lawless pirates led by incompetent idiots. And it hasn’t even been close to a year yet.

The Republican Party decided to defect. Although GOP politicians ran for political office and won, now they say that democracy isn’t really their job. Justices appointed by Republicans don’t feel bound by the law, or limited to it. And the people we hired to run the federal government? They took the cash and bought themselves jets, servants, homes, vacations, and armed escorts. Trump has repurposed the military to be secret police, slave patrols, and privateers. The billionaires who paid for all this are sucking off billions every few weeks. And when the news reported what was happening, billionaires simply bought them. Now the news works for them, too.

The worst part? The transformation didn’t even take a year. That seems bad, doesn’t it?
