As dangerous as Trump is to democracy, and as violently as he acts out for the cameras, I worry about the Republican silence. Is there any crime or corruption they won’t quietly accept? Whether they’re cowards or the party of imbecilic compliance, we need to vote them out of office up and down the ticket.

How to recover America after Trump crashes and burns? We can’t arrest ourselves into peace. I recommend a Truth Commission. Confess to crimes committed under Trump and you get immunity. Use that testimony to prosecute any liars, then use the results to build the full story.
We’re weeks away from falling into an economic crash. Vast swaths of retail are closing or “Going Out of Business!” But because stocks are up, McConnell is blocking any action.
