In December, I wrote that Devin Nunes is a Liar. He’s still a liar, unsurprisingly. That’s what fuels the modern Republican party these days.
Here’s a fun part. The documents that Lev Parnas turned over to the House really nails Nunes. Despite Parnas’ frequent contacts with Nunes’ chief of staff, Nunes managed to maintain his amnesia throughout the House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment hearings. At the same time, Nunes never forgot his role as the Republican ranking member. He managed to be indignant at any suggestion that the Trump administration was manufacturing dirt on Biden. Even as Nunes was coordinating exactly that criminal campaign.
Doesn’t it seem like Republicans as a group have been suffering from an epidemic of memory problems ever since Trump took office? I wonder if the CDC needs to get involved?
Right after the House committee released Lev Parnas’ text, phone, and email records, Rep. Nunes had an amnesia remission. Praise the Lord! Or maybe the Congressman took his brain-care pills. Whatever. Nunes suddenly remembered the phone calls. Maybe Lev’s name had just slipped his mind? “Oh, yeah. That guy!”
(I swear to god, I’m not making that last part up.)
Anyway, sounds like possible criminal exposure to me. Better keep taking those brain pills, Devin.
