Republican Rep. Devin Nunes is a liar. All right, yeah, we knew that long ago. There was his famous midnight run. And remember his opening statements during the impeachment hearings. But Jeeze! It’s much, much worse than we knew. He looked like a gullible idiot when he spouted the official Republican positions as if they made sense. Nunes has always been a groveling brownnoser for Trump. But even with that prelude, what a miserable sleezeball!
I’ve written a couple of times recently that Nunes is nobody’s intellectual wonder. He’s as sharp as a marble. He couldn’t pour beer out of the bottle with instructions on the bottom. He’s a few bricks shy of a load.
In other words, Nunes is no Gordon Sondland.
But my god. The House report – The Trump-Ukraine Impeachment Inquiry Report – is out. And guess what? Devin Nunes showed up in the report something like 49 times. Nunes aide Derek Harvey had been making substantive calls with Lev Parnas on Feb. 1, 4, and 7. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo scheduled a secure call with Nunes on April 1, 2019. On April 5, Parnas had a very short call to Nunes aide Harvey. Nunes made and took several calls and texts from Rudy Giuliani and Parnas on April 7, 10 (five times!), 11, and 12 (four times). On May 8, Giuliani contacted Nunes aide Harvey again. On May 10, Giuliani contacted Kashyap “Kash” Patel, an official at the National Security Council who was previously a member of Devin Nunes’ staff.

Well, huh. Funny. I have to wonder why Nunes didn’t mention all those conversations. Maybe he didn’t see that as a conflict of interest?
Or, more likely, Nunes is exactly as horrific a liar as the report proves at length. He’s been neck-deep in the conspiracy even as he sat on the committee attacking every witness.
And talk about being slow on the draw. What a goddamn moron! He made all these calls and what? He just assumed nobody would ever find out? He’s not really that much of a tit, is he?
Hey, Schiff just said that the Republican members were told of the phone company subpoenas. They were told the committee was looking at their phones. And then the Republicans got copies of those records later, too. And Nunes, apparently, just kept his mouth shut the whole time.
Oh yeah. Rep Devin Nunes (R-Ca), House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member and former Chair, is exactly that much of an unholy, mouth-breathing, lickspitting fuckwit.
The hearings start tomorrow at 10 AM EST. It should be a show. And you know I’m recording that puppy.
