Senator Mitch McConnell has apparently fallen in his home and broken his shoulder. The reports are just coming in, so we don’t know much. While this probably should be Nathan writing this, I think I speak for most of us here in wishing him a quick recovery.

I know I say terrible things about McConnell. I call him Moscow Mitch and insist he’s an anti-American hypocrite. I do that because it’s true. I hate almost everything he says and does, and with a blast-furnace heat.

While I repudiate Mitch McConnell’s politics, I don’t wish him harm. Nobody here does. I want him out of office, but that’s political, not physical. I wish him the best; I hope his injuries are mild and that he has a speedy recovery.

After that, we can get back to all that ‘voting him out of office’ stuff.
