As the circle tightens and Trump gets squeezed, the Presidential destruction increases. We’re entering that scary part of things. Trump is fighting back the only way he knows, by tearing down everything that frightens him.

I agree, although it’s hard to imagine Trump somehow becoming more destructive to American principles and democratic institutions. He’s already set records for meanness and anti-American nonsense.

Aw, Jesus! Do I really have to do this? Everything out of that baboon’s mouth is an obvious lie. He’s not even good at it. I especially love the scare quotes on “Justice” Department. I’m sure will convince at least… well, nobody.
I don’t want to just repeat his latest howler, and then mention, you know, plain facts. It’s just old and boring. And nobody is listening anymore.
So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times…and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?

So sure, Trump starts by going to his happy place: blaming Hillary. He never seems to tire of that. I could mention all those nagging facts — Hillary didn’t lie, she wasn’t under oath; Flynn did lie, under oath, about colluding with our enemies; Trump won the friggin’ election — but let’s just sit here, giggling now and then, watching Trump mentally unspool.
Trump reliably attacks whatever scares him. He’s reliable. And Trump is still fuckin’ terrified of Hillary. He can’t let go of anything Hillary or Obama have so much as touched. I can’t blame him. Hillary and Obama are both so much more competent than anything Trump has ever done, he’s (rightly) humiliated every time they take breath.
I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!

So Trump quotes Fox and Friends, who are echoing what Trump said because they know it’s what Trump wants to hear, who’s repeating—

Oh, yeah, and Trump decided to sell millions of acres of federal parkland in Utah to his rich buddies so they could mine the resources. Look, you moron: the federal government — you remember? That thing we hired you to protect and run? — the federal government will run out of money on Friday. We’re talking about lock the doors, turn out the lights, closed. Until recently, we’d find the very idea hard to believe. Even now, after decades of Republican monkey-wrenching, it’s still a big deal.
Instead of dealing with it, Trump decided to go on another publicity trip. Trump also decided he didn’t want to work on the Children’s Health Insurance Program (expired two months ago), or the Puerto Rico disaster, or the Opiate crisis. Nope! Trump thought his precious time was best used in another massive giveaway and a campaign rally.
Yeah, presidential destruction. Trump’s lighting the drapes on fire to distract us. And he’s only getting started.
