Just a quick note: I read and hear a lot of nonsense about “reform.” Politicians love slinging the word, since it sounds, ya know, responsible and all, without actually committing making anything better. Remember how many scalawags and carpetbaggers were elected on ‘reform’ tickets. Boss Tweed, anyone?
Nonetheless, the word ‘reform’ does means something in legislation. For a piece of fiscal legislation to be a ‘reform’, it has to be revenue-neutral. Otherwise, it’s something else, usually a cut or an increase.
Trumpcare isn’t a reform, it’s just a massive cut to poor people to support a tax cut. There is no reform involved.
