Just in case someone was confused by my last post.

Mar-A-Lago Gates
As many sources have reported (was the Miami Herald first?), Trump met with two former Colombian presidents last weekend at Mar-A-Lago. They’d come to his club as members, or with another member.
We don’t know how much Trump’s organization got, but Trump already said that anyone can purchase a membership at Mar-A-Lago. All you need is the initiation fee, which starts at $200,000 per person. And that money eventually goes to Trump.
So, last weekend, agents of a foreign country paid President Trump’s organization some amount of money to see him, so they could pitch more war in Columbia. Yeah, that’s not an issue.
It’s what we call a huge conflict of interest. Hell, it’s a big, supersized, industrial strength CONFLICT OF INTEREST with bold underscore, and in screaming all-caps. We haven’t a clue how much they really paid Trump to listen to them, but since he profits from every shrimp they nibbled and every drink they sipped, I’m guessing the answer isn’t ‘zero’.
Similarly, consider Trump’s real-estate holdings that USA Today documented in Trump condos worth $250 million pose potential conflict. It’s wonderful reporting, even if they half-stepped the headline. I think most people would consider a quarter billion dollars a powerful conflict.
Interesting how most of the high-value properties are sold to front corporations, isn’t it? I wonder how many foreign entities are sheltered behind those shells? That, too, would be a serious Constitutional problem.
OK. It’s another serious constitutional violation. Stacked up behind all the other unethical and probably illegal actions Trump and his cohort of New York bankers and foreign oligarchs have managed already.
