Vice President Mike Pence reassured South Korea that the United States fully stood behind the American commitment to defend South Korea from North Korean aggression.

I’ve heard that South Korea officials were reassured by his speech, but who else really thinks Trump will hold to anything Pence says? Even Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has to double back every time Trump spouts something new.  Everyone knows Trump let Pence go out and defend then-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, when Trump already knew Flynn had lied.

It’s not like the Vice President actually speaks for the President.  We know that.  Trump changes direction without talking to anyone..

Trump is bad at the job, and yes, it really matters.
