Empathy?
Trump changed direction completely when he bombed Syria. This was how he started his speech:
My fellow Americans,
On Tuesday, Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad launched a horrible chemical weapons attack on innocent civilians using a deadly nerve agent.
Assad choked out the lives of innocent men, women and children. It was a slow and brutal death for so many. Even beautiful babies were cruelly murdered in this very barbaric attack.
No child of god should ever suffer such horror.
So much for Rex Tillerson’s answer about how it was up to the Syrian people to choose their leaders.
Does this mean he’s changed his mind on allowing Syrian refugees into the US? They are exactly the same innocent men, women, children, and even, yes, beautiful babies that he lamented just now.
