The difference between real and faux.
This morning, the New York Times had an Op-Ed from retired General Stanley McChrystal, the former head of the Joint Special Operations Command.
His article is to Save PBS. It Makes Us Safer. As a longtime military man, he argues that it’s a tiny investment that pays huge dividends to all of us. He says that any argument like “guns or Big Bird” is a false choice.
To me, this looks like a man who’s comfortable with his masculinity. And such a contrast with the shrieking orangutan in the big white zoo.
