I don’t expect this to pass. Too obvious. Instead, the GOP will critically underfund the agency, then saddle it with impossible new tasks and roadblocks, let critical positions lie fallow, and eventually decry the entire agency’s death spiral, suggesting it was the agency mission that was broken.
